I just downloaded the new Linkin Park album and the new One Republic album

They are both very good...One Republic has a lot of U2 sounds in it...they said they like how going to a U2 concert is like going to church, it's not just music but it's something you become apart of and believe in...and that's the truth about U2 concerts....they are well on their way and should be sticking around quite sometime

Oh I also downloaded Alicia Keys' album...yeah I know...but it's actually very good

I use a line from a good comedian on why he keeps Alize in the house. (Alize is a cocktail drink)

I've almost set a new personal record for not buying music, but recent gifted music included...

Pinback - Autumn of the Seraphs
Band of Horses - Cease to Begin
Jon Foreman - Fall EP
Juno Soundtrack
Okkervil River - The Stage Names
Northern State - Can I Keep This Pen? (for the wife, do not recommend)

One of my friends from back home has been pushing Okkervil River on me for years. I just can't get into it. They've got a couple of ok songs but the rest of it must just being going over my head.

Band of Horses are pretty good. I keep forgetting to get their stuff. Them and Sea Wolf.

I downloaded a couple new cd's this week:

Crash Romeo
Hawk Nelson
Search The City
Panic at the Disco

The Crash Romeo cd is good. I got through a song and a half of Hawk Nelson's and turned it off. I've been listening to Search The City non-stop since I got it. They remind me of what Brentwood would've become if they would've stayed together. I absolutely love it. I haven't listened to the Panic cd yet.

The new Panic, from what I have heard, is pretty decent, but cheesy.

And The Color Fred is amazing. Been really liking that... don't know how new it is tho.

Jon Foremen is really good. I'm glad he's getting a mention around here.

I've bought some oldies this week:

Anything by Dispatch
Braddigan
John Butler Trio
Throwback

I miss jam bands.

zebrahead still exists? Man, I loved them in high school. Very 311-like which I believe is one of the most underrated bands of the last 10-15 years.

I own both of you. Read the Bible, Caleb > Micah

Anyone listened to MGMT or The Whigs? Not bad, kind of hit-or-miss. New Delirious album just came out, very good. Muse has a live album out, which are usually better than their studio albums, but it doesn't have 'Citizen Erased', which is very dissappointing.

I'm really liking the new Raconteurs album "Consolers of the Lonely" which came out last week. I'm going to pick up the new Black Keys "Attack & Release" this weekend. They're a great band and I've heard they've gone in a different direction with production by Danger Mouse.

Are they a Christian band? I know their music is clean, but I hadn't looked into it.
