A cop got murdered by one of these domestic terrorists yesterday. Weird, I thought they believed Blue Lives Matter? Guess it was just a bunch of bullcrap to justify their white supremacy.

That attitude is not helpful. I noticed on tv a lot of diversity in the crowd. They appeared to be working class, probably had their good job offshored a few years ago.

Well, he’s on life support awaiting the family- he’s not going to make it. But he had a stroke and I haven’t seen anything about when or where.

Where was this sentiment and anger when this man was murdered last summer? Were these not domestic terrorists also? Or was it the action of the few that should not demonize a whole group? Both incidents and the subsequent collateral injury and deaths were abhorrent, but there is no room or privilege for the self-righteous rhetoric presently coming from either party.

Some folks were silent or simply said we need to look at the deeper issue, the "root cause". They said leaders were not "hearing" the grievances and thus, tried to justify the events that transpired last summer through the lens of this frustration. Is that different than what some on the otherside are saying now? In my opinion, there is NO justification of what happened this week or this past summer. If I'm not mistaken, both examples are the antithesis of what Dr. King stood for, even as he was sacrificing so much in regards to the very root cause of some very ingrained grievances. But let's not pretend either side has sound ground to stand on here, and I include ALL media, when it comes to the social unrest we are witnessing. Maybe it was "white supremacy". I haven't heard that and would be interested where the basis for that application came from. I would assert that position, short of proof, is one with little traction toward reconciliation, and quite contrary to any future uniting the country presently needs if only speculation and conjecture.

Yikes. That’s uncalled for.
You are correct. I’m not taking it down so people can see where I was wrong. No need to hide it. I am apologizing and giving me a 15 yard penalty
It appears he had a heart attack or something. But nothing related directly to the goings on at the Capitol

Thanks. Yeah, that’s what I meant when I said I hadn’t heard when or where. Hard to blame the agitators if he went home and had a stroke.

*Edit* just read @TH Spangler’s article. A lead pipe to the head is different if true. I’m so unbelievably angry and grieved over it all. Christ, have mercy.

Problem with the current side’s grievances (election stolen) is that it’s based on a bunch of confirmed lies because they can’t accept the fact that one of their gods, Donald Trump, got blown out in the election and their other god, Q Anon, was lying to them for 5+ years with all their conspiracy theory BS.

And NOW the media pushes out the death of a cop and the true tragedy it is. If you can't see the hypocrisy all around, on both sides....you are a true sheep.

@Wildcats truth is usually in the middle somewhere. One thing for sure, there's bozos on both sides.

I voted for Trump to stop the offshoring of our manufacturing jobs. We have many problems in Washington. He was a hail mary, and I have no idea how he held up as long as he did. Let's see where Biden takes us. Remember God allows leaders to rise and fall. Gods story continues.

Add...."in your opinion", and you'd be right. Many on one side feel YOUR position is a farce and simply hyperbole, much like you feel there was no election fraud. Whether your position or the other side's....both have validity, and to suggest otherwise is simply ignorant or intentional political bias. Not going to get in the weeds....but we could go back and forth all day finding "news references" to support either position, so to continue in such a way is really useless.

One has to be careful they don't reflect the very thing they sermonize against.....which in many cases is already happening.

This video is harrowing. It’s time-stamped at a particularly bad spot, but the size of the crowd trying to push their way in is incredible, too. This was an attempt to take over the government and should be treated as such.

Yes. Let’s take over the Government with our Viking helmets. Such an over reaction. If they had wanted to do more they certainly could have. There were A LO
T of people there. Had they all stormed the Capitol Etc id buy into that line. No, these were a bunch of idiots trying to make a point and be Internet famous. I in no way condone what they did but I certainly don’t see this as an attempt to take over the government

In other news, feel free to check out who controls the Capitol Police

It's not a coup, but more like a momentary lapse of reason, due to a perceived injustice. And it's completely unacceptable. Of course, the left has cornered the market on perceived injustices and other imaginary indulgences. But they are always the first to be outraged by opposing fantasies...as if to say, hey you can't do that...that's our thing.
