Perhaps it was because I had a group of small children watching these movies with me. The darker tones and gaps in the plot due to editing it down from the book made it a slight notch less than PC. But I agree wholeheartedly that neither of the sequels measured up to the original. I just read the Horse and His Boy with my son and I am curious to see how it would be translated to the big screen. Now the Magician's Nephew would seem to be tailor-made for a movie.

A bunch of women took over my house tonight and the first movie that was playing after the basketball was Tron: Legacy so I went and checked it out. I had pretty low expectations because I had heard some bad things but it was a pretty decent movie. Young Jeff Bridges was pretty creepy most of the movie but in certain scenes it was kind of CGI looking (I pride myself in thinking how fake/awful CGI lmixed with real stuff looks.) But I was pretty impressed with how well done that whole aspect was. Jeff Bridges old character was kind of annoying at times. He was supposed to be straight out of the 80s but he came across too much like The Dude. The light bike scene was really what made this movie good. It was really really really cool. I was wishing they would get back on them the rest of the movie. I give it a B.
