Though I graduated several years ago and have my diploma and cords in a box somewhere in my home, I have been researching out decent framing options and get-ups.
While searching online, I found the following pattern for the big sites that do custom framing:
All the schools in Virginia have a flagship academic building as the picture for framing the diploma, while LU has the chapel. While LU is faith-based and many may find that a fitting metaphorical image, I think a high quality shot of the DeMoss Building would be a great option as a companion picture for the Diploma. Perhaps the official who handles PR at LU could supply these outfits with an Official High Res photo of DeMoss Hall for an alternative offering.
See here for the offerings for other universities in VA: http://www.collegegear.com/sf/stores/12 ... 4647.shtml
Other customizable Framing Outlets for the recent (or not so recent grads):
