I was standing in the checkout line at Walmart yesterday when I heard a page over the PA system notifying Intern Jessica that she had a phone call. This, of course, begs the obvious question: you can be an intern at Walmart? And, since interns are usually given the grunt work that nobody else wants to do, what exactly is the intern doing for free that someone else didn't want to do for minimum wage?
