I can't believe that you just posted 3 times in 3 minutes with no responses in between.

SJ's sweaty meathooks probably slid off the keyboard.

I envision him wearing a mumu, Jesus sandals and an old 76'ers terrycloth sweatband

Super, have you checked the temperature dial? You want it pointed toward the snowflake. :D

I once rented an apartment in Lynchburg that had this old radiant heat system...in the ceiling. I remember the thermostats had a slogan on them that said "Heats like the sun!". I don't think the moron who invented that system took into account that heat rises. We'd have to have the heat on 90 to even be able to feel it in the rooms. I'm sure the attic crawlspace above our apartment was nice and toasty, though.

On the upside, rent was only $155 a month for me. Boy were those the days.

Edit: I think I just had my first Old Hag moment. :oldhag

That's what happened. It was something in the panel or something.

I didn't call Smoothie because I didn't need Smoothie. I already knew who Smoothie would tell me to call so I called that guy. They came right over and fixed it, and we're good now.

What it was doing was the cool air was kicking on but when it hit the metal strips it started pumping out warm air.

Yup, warranty covered the part, only had to pay for labor.

Those guys are pretty good and have been pretty reliable so far.

Of course, now that it's fixed, it's going to be in the 50's for weeks.

It's 40 right now.

I'd rather have it fixed now than realize it in May when it's in the 80's.
