Range Rovers/Land Rovers are tricky. If you look over all of Africa you'll notice that many people (who can actually afford a car) have Rovers. Except they are 30+ years old. So obviously those particular models have some longevity to them. However Consumer reports just released their list about a month ago of New Car reliabilaty and Land Rover came in dead last of every make of car that was included. That really sucks. Don't get a new one. They are pretty cool though.

my buddy owned one w/ a V-12. Talk about a nightmare. Couldn't find a shop to work on it, and there are few dealerships around, even on the swanky East Coast
the owner of my company had a phaeton (vw) with the w12....something happened and he would of had to take it to some specialty shop in chicago to get it fixed...he sold it and bought an ML.....
