This post by Medic caught my eye:
have decided to consolidate some of the Olympic Sports into non-gender specific threads, also combined Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field into one new thread for 06-07


I guess we are now a gender nuetral (or neutered) site??? I had no idea we were so progressive and left-leaning.

Actually, so many of those sports have matching schedules, or the teams travel together- etc, that it made sense to combine the threads. Also, to be honest- there IS a lot less traffic, so we may truly do better to put things in one place for each sport.
