Blah blah blah.

Most of what you listen to sucks. Get over it.

MALLET - Not knowing when you were in High School, I'd be interested to know what you thought of the "older" stuff.

No one ever said I loved it. It's just important to me.

SCORCHO - I am not sure I want to know why or how much lava lamps mean to you :D

RM - I have been there from the beginng. I would agree with the later part of your assesment

Boy - Very Good
October - Good, odd for a follow up album but like it.
War - Flat Out Awesome
Under a Blood Red Sky - Phenomenal although that could be because it was also a "video concert"
The Unforgettable Fire - Hated it but grew on me and now Really Like it
Wide Awake In America - LOve the live rendetion of Bad
Joshua Tree - Seminal. (But HATED With or With Out you)
Rattle and Hum - The Height of their Greatness. Not their best album, but the movie and the music did a GREAT Job summing up the bands journey to that point. Plus, once again, I am a sucker for their live concert stuff
Achtung Baby - LOVE ONE, the rest is not that good
Pop - I keep having that Vanilla Ice parody "Pop Goes the Weasel because the Weasel goes Pop" out of my head.
Zooropa - Or is ti Pooropa
Everything..... - Liked the two Radio hits but not much else.
Atomic Bomb - Ditto

I do have a TON of their B sides and imports (not just the ones on the "Greatest Hits" compilations.) and they are very good. Ironically enough, some of their older "B" sides made some of their newer albums. I count that as strikes against the new albums because they should have released them ALL in their own album.

Just saw this video from Make Poverty History and thought it was quite good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNWBYptAG68

It's Pearl Jam and U2 playing the classic Neil Young song "Rockin' in the Free World".
