So I was driving down Wards Rd this morning and saw an advertisement for this site on the new LED board over by the pedestrian bridge. Does anyone here know about it?

I guess the question(s) is/are: direct competition for the Champion, albeit online only? or is this the 2nd gen vers of the student newspaper, with the Champion being phased out?

has the appearance of being officially sanctioned, at least it looks professional enough.

no official logos though

1) No. According to my friend the editor-in-chief, its just another outlet for students to gain journalistic experience, much like FlamesNation.com could do
2) No. The Champion is not being nor will it be phased out.

Why can't the ads be… more selective. Ugh. I know the cookies from the sports sites I visit probably contribute, but sheesh. Can't the webmaster have any control over the ads?
