I believe it was somewhere between 04-06. A pastor that blasted Oprah. Anyone remember the man's name? I want to say he attended UNC or another prestigious university and found Christ and left to become a pastor.
Now I am sad that I cannot remember the man's name. I came away rather impressed and would like to look him up. Why did I hate convo so much that I can't remember the name of one of the few speakers I enjoyed!!!! BLASSST!!!
I believe it may have been Lon Solomon, pastor at McLean Bible Church. He did his undergrad at UNC. I think he spoke during spiritual emphasis week back then.
