It puts him in a win-win situation. If Obama doesn't do what he wants, Trump will say he's a coward with something to hide. If Obama complies, Trump gets the press for donating $5 million. I'm really tired of the way he has to interject himself into everything.

Trump being Trump. He's been out of the media's spotlight since Romney got the nomination. I guess this is his last ditch effort to get some tv time.

Honestly, I'd think much less of Obama if he could be bribed with $5 million to release the information about himself that Trump is asking for. Trump knows he won't release them, so he might as well make a crazy offer.

Ok. I searched online for a little while and most of what I read was that most candidates haven't traditionally released their college transcripts or passport information while most candidates typically released 5 years worth of tax returns. I couldn't find any truly reputable resources to back any of that up, however.
