The ABC affiliate here has a substation that's all country music videos. Still haven't figured that one out.

They are offering a free year of the NFL Sunday Ticket (assuming there's a season - if not it's free next year) and Showtime (you have to call them for free Showtime) along with a free HD DVR. All other movie channels (HBO, Cinemax, Starz, etc.) are free for 3 months. We also get $10 off each month for 10 months because my in-laws referred us. Just thought I'd throw it out there. PM me if you decide to sign up and I can give you my address info for a referral so we can both get another $10 off.

Install went poorly. We only ordered 2 boxes and the installer was here for 3 1/2 hours trying to get them working yesterday. After he left we had signal issues (black screen every few seconds, searching for signal periodically) and our Comcast Internet no longer worked. Called customer service last night to get assistance and just happened to inquire about their cancellation policy in case I was not happy with the service. I was told the cancellation period is 24 hours after install. If you disconnect later, there is a cancellation fee of between $250-$480.

I told the CSR I wanted to cancel service immediately because there was a good chance i still wouldn't be happy with the service once a technician returned. This is where the real nightmare began. I was hung up on 3 times before I was ever given a chance to speak with the disconnections department. Long story short, I'll be sending the boxes back and sticking with Comcast. Unfortunately, I now have a dish on the back of the second story of my house that they refuse to remove.

i had no time to prepare for the captn jack and bartender romp. it put me in a funk for the rest of the episode.

as i only watched the first season of the original, i like this one and it made me want to continue watching the original.

i like the black guy on the show from when he was on lie to me.

yeahhhhhhhhh.... shouldve seen that one coming tho given his character's "openminded" attitude. I knew when he headed toward the Golden Gopher or whatever that bar was that we were in for it.

I also knew a dude who claimed to be try-sexual. Said he'd try anything... so there ya go.

Anyhoo: overall giving the series a pretty solid "B" so far

What's going on with the Liberty Channel over the air digital signal? I can't pick it up hardly anymore. Its time for them to go ahead and drop the LD signal. If we want to be big time, let's get a full powered signal going.

More importantly, I need it to watch some sports!

I don't know how many of the technicians who work on our radio/TV stations look at this site, but if any of them are out there, thank you for doing the work needed to get back up to full power. I just scanned my TV and now the Liberty Channel is back over the air, even though I live way out of the service range. Just wanted to give a quick shout out for those out there who worked on the issue. It's coming in even better than it was before!

Is the Liberty Channel off the air right now? My TV can't seem to scan the OTA channel after for about 3 weeks it could consistently.

We haven't picked it up either lately until the other morning we got a weak signal, pixilated picture. Maybe they've reduced strength or something?

Must be the interference issue again. Thanks!

I know I'm a nerd but I read on filings on the FCC website and they said they were have interference issues with a mobile cell tower (this caused 90.9 to reduce their power as well last fall).

I can watch football and basketball when it's on 13.2 but for what doesn't appear on there I have to have 43 to see. Granted it pixelates quite a bit so it's only a fair picture but my internet isn't good enough to stream it. Oh well, only so much I can do living so far outside the home market.

I was curious if the storm knocked it out because that was the night I couldn't get it anymore. Could still be on low power because of the storm though.

Tonight I decided to scan my RCA indoor antenna and I was able to receive TV stations from Raleigh and Richmond again (135 miles, and 120 miles away, respectively.)

Raleigh is still coming in crystal clear. Not sure how much longer it will be. It's actually kind of typical for me to pick up Richmond every once in awhile.

Still no Liberty Channel though.
