Thinking about getting the XD for fathers da. Is it worth it?

I didn't get the XD model, got the HD, but for $80 it's worth it if you subscribe to netflix or hulu plus or willing to do the plex stuff, otherwise I'd say spend the money on something else.

I got the HD model for $50 so I thought it was a good deal, if I would have had to pay $80 for any of their models, I would have been disappointed. Especially since nowadays any computer you buy that's worth its weight in salt has HDMI output.

I almost did that deal. Only thing that puts that deal over the top is that it's six months of Hulu instead of three or less. You can go on Amazon and get the Roku HD and an HDMI cable for 51.60 (which is what I did).

I didn't do the deal because I don't have much time to be using Hulu from September thru May and I have a queue of over 600 free movies/shows on Hulu right now.
