I guess i am probably long overdue asking this question. But does any one in here participate in a league and would anyone in here like to start some Flamefans teams next year. Of all the topics we have i am suprised this hasn't been discussed to my knowledge.

Although, I've really cutback to just football related stuff. All of the other sports are too difficult to keep up with. My dream is some kind of fantasy college basketball. Yahoo used to have something similar to a salary cap style game where you'd pick however many college teams you're cap would allow and you could buy and sell the teams. It was something like you get 100 points and the top teir teams would be like 40 points so you really had to know your sleeper mid-major or low high-majors to do well. But I want something that uses individual players to make up a team. I suspect they're not allowed to do that for the same reason the cover of EA sports games are guys who just left college.

Anyway, I was gonna start a football league for us but by the time I thought of it, there wasn't enough time to set up a live draft where everybody could make it.

I was in two leagues last year, and Won one of them and I am currently in two more this year, leading both of them. I would be more than glad to jump in one next year if it were offered. Let's do it!

I was just thinking of this the other day. I know over on thesabre.com (uva's message board) they do some of these things. We should definitely have one next year. We did a March Madness pick 'em did we not in March?

I play just one football and one baseball league every year. I used to do multi-teams and it ruined the fun of it for me. But if we had something on here I'd be game.

And I remember that old College football & college basketball stuff, LUconn. It wasn't a very fun set up but it did give us a chance to do something with college sports.

A.G, while i am also a huge "Herd" fan i can't understand his reasoning on this one.....The guy makes fun of stat guy and fantasy guy( which is fine, i don't personally care), but he does all the same stat research to figure out what team he is going to gamble on each week. Someone actually called in last week i think and called him on it saying " man this sounds like a lot of stat nerd stuff to me" and he just brushed it off.....i think its only a matter of time before he realizes he can also win some $$$ in fantasy leagues and buys in......i mean he has to pay for his daughters college somehow, right? HAHA.

Har de har har...the only reason Im in so many is I HAVE that kind of time thanks to my class schedule. Chances are Im not gonna be that active next year.
