Tickets are 8 bucks. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

yesterday at campus church some guy said tickets were 40 bucks but they were offering them for 8 for liberty students? either way, even if the old guy was lying or i misheard them, even if the tickets were free, i wouldnt waste my time going to it.

Haizey - do you know that Isaac Air Freight has a websight and you can purchase CDs of their classic material - such as Rapture Hotline and Prodigal Joe? www.IsaacAirFreight.com - I just remembered them one day and Yahooed the name and found their website. I receive no monetary gain from promoting their website. Unfortunately - as in every instance of rememberance - they weren't as funny as I remembered but I still laugh when I listen to them.

Comedy is all about timing and they have had the right material for the era. And no, it doesn't tanslate well to today. But then again some of today's comedians that are beloved by current students aren't that funny to me.

I don't think there's any danger of TRBC hosting any real comedians. It would be nice to see an actual comedy scene in the area though.

Good to know that the good ol Baptists are at least opening up to the idea of comedy outside of the mid 80's ubiquitous church comedy acts.

Hey I like the 80's as much as the next guy--I'm a child of the 80's (Jams--the shorts, Punky Brewster, cartoon GI Joe, Alyssa Milano, G&R, Hair Metal et al)...but the church comedy seemed to have it's zenith in the late 80's/early 90's...one can't say that is excellent comedy with a straight face...we have no beef purple (see related response on the Fire in the Furnace thread.) 8) cause I wear my sunglasses at night so I can 8)
