For the last year or more espn.com has become annoying to say the least. Practically all the decent stories are for insiders where you have to pay a premium. Even the lead stories have become that way. What's the deal? Is anyone else bothered by this? Doesn't espn make enough money that they don't have to make us pay to access a web story?

Espn is free to do this, but it doesn't make me very happy with them. I guess I'll try to find another good sports website.

ESPN is owned by Disney and that is how Disney works. I have all but stopped going to espn.com for that reason. Any other info that I need regarding sports I can find elsewhere. I guess if there is a profit to be gotten, they are going to get it!
