The writers were pitching a skit about a game show called 'Science Schmience' (sp?), where they had a jewish scholar, a member of the Taliban, a Liberty Bible College student, Tom Cruise, and a witch as the contestants. Matthew Perry's character then said something along the lines of 'I don't think it is Liberty Bible College anymore, I'm pretty sure it is just Liberty College or University'. And then he went on saying that if they were going to do a skit like that, they had to get their facts right on the details like that...

Mallet, Studio 60 is the Drama about SNL (or a show like it). You are referring to the Tina Fey comedy about SNL (or a show like it). That show has not aired yet but it does have a few SNL cast members including Rachel Dratch and Tracey Morgan. It is called 30 Rock which is where they tape the real SNL (30 Rockafeller Center). SNL is not very good right now though as you said. They need to overhaul the cast and find us another Will Ferrell.

i think the 3 new guys, andy, bill, and jason are good...if yuo can find writers that fit these guys they can be great...

the women stink...amy is semi funny and mya is terrible...the other girl is ho hum

darrell hammond just seems out of place....

i know they have to have a black guy and finesse was just horrible but keenan is about as funny as cancer...

oh come on, he does a great bill cosby. The only guy I really like, and only sometimes, is the younger guy with the long hair. And the only reason I think he's funny is because he's responsible for the lazy sunday video. Pohler is funny sometimes but she was good on the Upright Citizens Brigade. And you need that one chick because apparently she can play any race they tell her to. Is she white, black, asian, canadian, indian, who knows? but she does them all.

Mya Rudolph is bi-racial. I think the new girl is good with impressions. She does a great Megan Mullally from Will and Grace. Mallet you are right about Sanz and Finesse. Those guys needed to go. I like Jason Sudeikis but they definitely need to write better for the younger guys. I like Keenan but I don't think he does a good Bill Cosby. They just need to start over and keep a few of the new guys. Amy Poehler is married to your boy from Arrested Development Luconn. Did you know that?

Man that travel agency bit was really funny. Did you get the transcripts off the internet Mallet or did you remember the scene that well? That is exactly how it went. That was with Matt Dillion I think. I like the one where 2 A-Holes witness a crime and Kevin Spacey is the detective.

I have to disagree on Mya Rudolph. She CAN play anyone and I think she is pretty good. Pohler is funny and Dratch is good. Sorry to Horatio Saenz is gone. He was good.

Besides....what are all you "Christians" watching these shows for? Wait till the Bob Joneser's hear about you!

Trivia: Mya Rudolph was once in a band called "The Rentals" started by original Weezer bassist Matt Sharp. She left to join a comedy troupe, and subsequently, SNL.
