ok- after I realized the impossible was, in fact, the case here: I am looking for help.

I have 2 computers, both Dells, sitting side by side.

I am currently on my wife's Inspiron 600m, running Win XP Home- able to log in here with no issues whatsoever.

I have a Dell E510, running Win Media Center Edition (XP something) which is less than a week old- have no issues with ANY website, and no other issues AT ALL, other than it will NOT load flamefans.com.

I just assumed the site was down- but obviously it is not. Anybody have an idea as to why two computers, running side by side on the same DSL router are not performing the same? :?

figured it out.

I'm running McAfee, which I hate- and ONLY because it came pre-loaded and I haven't had the time to rip it out and install Norton.

Somehow, this crap program decided that the server hosting FlameFans was making unsolicited attempts to get thru my firewall- and it added the ISP to my "banned" list. Stupid computer.
