Glorious unseen just did worship at my Dads church a month or two ago, and they had alot of complaints, and my dad hated it because his whole sermon was getting worship off of us and onto God, and praising him, and then their worship was all songs of basically "how I feel when I sing to you" stuff.

Phil Wickham is incredible.

I'm not trying to start anything with you but 2 serious questions...1. what is wrong with writing worship songs about how God makes you feel and 2. if your father has a problem with that kind of worship then shouldn't he have looked into who he was bringing do your church??

1. An occasional song yeah. To have an entire worship set be about how this is making me feel? How is that worshiping God? To me that seems like it is making the worship service purely about the experience that comes from the emotions of the music. 2. Two of the guys in the band are brothers. Those two brothers have a dad who is an elder at the church my father Pastors.
