Yes, and if they are going to do it, they might as well make major announcements for their top of the line product other than "its got a new processor" and everything else is exactly the same as the 2G version (this one might as well just be called the 2.1Gen version). They could fit a camera and FM radio (not that the lack of radip is a big deal, but it would be nice to HAVE the option) on the Nano, but not on the Touch? I just don't get it. I and seemingly many others would have gotten the new touch if they would have added a camera, now me and the rest are just going to stick with we have or get the zune HD when that comes out. I'm just going to wait until I get a real job then I will get the Palm Pre or a Blackberry and only upgrade my Touch when it dies or apple actually decides to make some major upgrades to it. heck, I might even downgrade to the nano since that actually has a camera on it, won't need all the internet stuff and whatnot when I have a data plan with the pre...
Apple could have at least given an incentive for people to upgrade to the new touch. I have a feeling a new processor with terminology most people won't even understand will do that. Only thing worth making me upgrade would be the 64GB but I don't need it bad enough to drop 400 on it by any means at all...
