Maybe it was marketed that way, but Elizabethtown isn't really a chick flick. In fact, if you go in hoping for a chick flick, you'll probably be disappointed. Was Jerry Maguire a chick flick? Think of this like "Jerry Maguire meets Garden State". A formerly successful executive loses his job just as his father dies. There is a romantic angle, but it doesn't dominate the film unless you let it. I think it's more about loss, grieving and letting go.

Serenity, great movie from a too short lived series. ALthough the series was a lot more light hearted then the movie, I still enjoyed both.

Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster- I haven't seen it but husband says it was good, not showing a lot of people getting shot... though it leads you to the conclusion of a lot happening.

I didn't like Inside Man, I would not recommend it. Too long and I don't think it was directed or written well.
