If you think about it, you are actually a better driver when using the cell for talking or texting while driving. When I'm just driving I'm probably day dreaming about something and barely paying attention. But driving while on the phone I concentrate that much more to make sure I don't do something stupid. So really it's much safer to use your phone and drive. A bonus to that is switching radio stations frequently while on the phone!

I personally dont like to talk on the phone while driving...now if one of my parents is calling then I'll take it but otherwise if someone calls I'll let it go to voicemail. My younger sister is the same way.

evidently if i talk while driving on an air force base I can get my license taken away for 30 days...they give you one warning then after that its 30 days, get caught again doing it, its 60 days, another time its a year....and unlike a lot of states with no talking while on cell phone, security force can and will pull people over for it...i've already seen it done to people....

so needless to say it looks like i will be investing in a blue tooth when i start driving around base
