Where our flag is "offensive."
Debbie McLucas comes from a patriotic family – her husband and both of her sons served in the U.S. military, and her daughter is currently deployed to Iraq on her second tour of duty as a combat medic.

So when McLucas arrived at work at a Texas hospital last Friday, she was stunned to be told that the Stars and Stripes she had hung in her office in advance of Memorial Day were offensive, and that the flag had been removed.

And then the hospital realized how stupid they were, and they said they let her put it back up. I wouldn't call it the 'new USA', I'd call it an over-reactive employer trying to appease an easily-offended employee...definitely a dumb move by that hospital, but I wouldn't consider this one action an indication about where the country is headed.

Are any other news outlets reporting such stories? If not then we would not know of such stories

Yes, but they clearly enjoy their freedoms in AMERICA. Thus, shut up about the offensive flag. I am not going to someone else's country, let them help me make my life better and my families lives better, and then be like "their flag offends me" what the crap is that? Go back to Africa if the very symbol of the country that made your life a better place is offensive.
