I'm officially addicted. Over the past week or two I've watched so many things on this network it's not even funny. I've been trying to go to bed for an hour but they're showing "Epic Moments" which is basically an hour long highlight show of the best baseball plays throughout history. This channel is awesome.

I've watched way too many episodes of Prime 9 and Epic Moments along with a few classic games from World Series' back in the 40's. Hot Stove is pretty good too. I can't wait to see what programming they roll out once spring training starts. The only thing I don't like is the fact that Time Warner made me add a new package (I already have almost all the HD channels and sports package along with Extra Innings) which is an extra $6.95/month to get MLB Network which violates the terms of use for the channel. I've spoken w/ TW customer service several times and keep getting the runaround. Oh well, the channel is excellent.

And for the record, I would not consider SkyDome...err...Rogers Centre to be a "cathedral of the game."

I'm addicted to it too. The show on the history of the negro leagues was excellent. And Prime 9 and hot stove are good.

Also, during the season, they have a show from 6PM on with live look-ins and discussion of the games. Should be fun.

Have any of you all seen "Hot Stove Baseball" Friday nights on MASN. It is a good show with discussions on the Orioles & Nationals.

You shouldn't use the word "good" followed by the terms "Orioles" or "Nationals."

Prime 9 is indeed a good show...DVR is set to start picking them all up

Here's my question...some of these Prime 9 shows were made in 06, 05 and other years...what channel would they have appeared on???

That's what I've been wondering. I was watching Cathedrals of the Game and it was made back in 2005 as well. I wonder if they were straight to DVD shows or if they actually aired somewhere?

We dont really get a Fox Sports (location) Channel so maybe they would play on their local Sports Channel?

Well he still managed the Red Sox in fact many thought he was going to get the big league job when that became open, he didnt and I think that rubbed him the wrong way...and your right about the Cubs

I gave a presentation in one of my COMS classes based on that book... My problem is that when I re-read it, he was talking about "small-market" teams like San Francisco... He needs to differentiate between "teams that cannot compete with the large-market teams because of economic conditions" and "teams that just don't want to spend the money."
