I'll always remember Whitney Houston's performance at the '91 Super Bowl. It was during the Gulf War, there was a flyover of F-16s, and even with her fancy runs, she pulled it off, thanks to the orchestra.

What's annoying is how so many female pop singers have since tried to copy her vocal style on the anthem at so many sporting events. It still happens today. Most of them are just awful.

This year's orange bowl. Arturo Sandoval. No singing nothing different just straight national anthem like it should be done. It gave me chills.

Yeah, that one was great...one of the best performances I've heard in a while of the Anthem.
