Ed, you have a chance of making a run. Thelma is in some hot water. Nye may make a serious run at her by hanging onto Obama's coat tails.

If you are serious about running, you've got a volunteer right here (although I can't vote for you due to my house being in the 4th district).

From everything I've read, she's not on the list of 'vulnerable' GOP house candidates. That's not to say it's not going to be close, though. I think she's run a pathetic campaign. I mean, she continuously hammers the guy for not supporting oil drilling. Is that all she's got?

Still, I'm serious. I will enter the 2010 race if she loses.

I can see the campaign ads. You spent 4 years under the direct teaching of Jerry Falwell and then followed that up with 2 years as Pat Robertson's protege. Your race is over before it began.

Stats....the mainstream media is putting out 70% positive info for Obama, 30% McCain....dont look for this to be on TV anytime soon

or they might pull the plug...

I disagree. This area used to be home to the Mets AAA affiliate, the Norfolk Tides. Plus, there are a lot of northern transplants here. You'd be surprised at the number of Mets fans.

The problem here is that if you run under your real name, you will lose all of your name recognition points as Ed Dantes. Tough call if you ask me.
