many of these no votes are bills he voted no on but these were attached. but there are enough no votes on just the sole issue of guns that i have a feeling there will be more and more hoops to jump through as the days go on.

Waitress Tina W. (last name withheld) tells us she was working the late shift at a bar in Chicago Tuesday night, and served a group of 6 African-American males. Here is what was left for her as a tip, as the party exited the establishment.

..and a lot of them are starting to pick up on that:
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen also thought about the tax implications.

"It's a sad day for me. I'm a McCain supporter. There is nothing I can do about it now. Our paychecks will be cut in half," he said. "It is what it is and McCain, I still love you, and Obama, you better do what you promised because the whole country is watching."

the whole country is watching, and will have the networks and most cable news tell them how wonderful things are - probably by February.

Presto, chango- the economy is better, the world loves us, everything is daisies and buttercups now that the enlightened American public has run Satan out of office. Amazing how that works.

This has all happened yesterday and today. There have already been stories about Obama being the "world's candidate", how it's suddenly cool again to be American, and the economy is not going to go into a recession. It's amazing what can be accomplished in one day.

I will say this. I had a former Liberty athlete (if I mentioned the name youd know) write me today and basically out and out say that by my voting for McCain I was going against all the work that Martin Luther King Jr. Malcom X, Rosa Parks and others had done in the fight for civil rights for black people. I simply responded by saying that I am still very proud of those who went before and fought for equal rights for blacks but that the fact that I voted for a man who was more in line with my stances on the issues does absolutely nothing to denigrate the work that those people did.

That's retarded to say you've belittled the work of civil rights leaders from back in the day. Yesterday at work I heard a lot of black people talking about how this country has truly turned a corner. I understand that this is the first time in history we've had a black president, and that's special - but didn't we turn the corner along time ago? We have black senators, governors, judges.. there are black people who are CEOs, and black athletes that have more money than a lot of white people will ever dream of having. Just because there was black guy who was a candidate that was winnable, we've turned the corner? A lot of black people weren't getting behind Alan Keyes.

Just look at the way Clarence Thomas is treated. It's not about race, it's about an ideological race. Thomas should be an inspiration to the black community, but I would guess that the majority of the black community doesn't even know who he is, and if they do they probably despise him.

Dude, people who say that need to go back and listen to King's "I Have A Dream" speech.

You could tell him that for you to vote for Obama because he's black would be to the detriment of Dr. King's dream. If he asks for an explanation, tell him to YouTube it.
