Today, on my way to lunch, I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on an 'Obama 08' tie, again I
laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to
redistribute his tip to someone whom I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10, and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided that he could use the money more. The homeless guy was really grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment, I
realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved the money more.
I guess that redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in
concept than in practical application.

IS REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE'S WEALTH, A GREAT IDEA
..... or just a fool's game?

Voted in '04 has 11 of the 42 replies to this topic, and yet as with most BO supporters I see not logic as to why he's voting for Obama. The reason for that is like most of them he doesn't have any real reasons. Substance is replaced by following a Rock Star wanna be and hatred of the current President.

So, I would encourage the rest of you true gentlemen to just ignore him until he decides to post some substance and eliminates the empty taunting.

And when McCain wins, please come back and allow us to congratulate you for a wasted vote.

There, I feel better now!

So Obama is on tape saying he wants to bankrupt the domestic coal industry and have energy prices skyrocket. I hope people are listening. These latest releases are genuinly something that would change people's minds at the last minute, if only they were widely released AND COVERED.

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. The vast majority of the media has been taking everything he has said as law. I can't think of one time where he has been asked a difficult quesiton by a member of the media. Can you? My number one concern with electing Obama is what he will do with those who oppose him. You can take or leave Sean Hannity, but don't you think it's odd that Obama keeps mentioning all of his radical listeners in his speeches and interviews? How about all of the Fox News comments? I find it frightening that a presidential candidate would call out a specific person or organization who has been critical of him. What happens when he is President? Will it become a problem to disagree with him, or go even to the point of being considered racist?

I think we've got a big problem here.

What happens to him when Obama is President?

1. Audit. Sean better make sure his tax returns are in order.
2. Huge loss of syndication revenue, when affiliates drop his show because they have to comply with the re-instated Fairness Doctrine.

My favorite line of the day as I waited in line to vote:

"People be ignant if they not vote Obama."

My vote went to cancel that guy's out. How fair is that?
