This is going to sound terrible, but it is the truth.

I live in a predominately Democratic voting district. It is supposed to be pouring and windy on Tuesday here in Hampton Roads. I am not expecting a line at all at 7:00am.

I haven't checked the weather yet, but I hope the storm is a blowin' in Richmond as well. You can figure out why on your own.

I plan on getting to the Moose Lodge on Lakeside while it is still dark(6:00ish), voting, and the going out to breakfast at Country Kitchen afterwards and spending the whole day grading papers.

Fumble, do you really think that there will be any LU students voting before 8:00 a.m.?

Did you just say OMG? and then add an unnecessary "'s" to the end of of omelette?

Strange post, indeed.

Not a chance...but I bet a lot of locals will be lining up and I'd rather wait early...then spend time in line later in the day.

My mom's been saying the exact same thing, except with NC instead of the towns you mentioned.

I vote somewhere over here on Campbell Ave. I'll go sometime during the day.

That's where VA has me voting as well. Of course I don't live in Lynchburg anymore and it's an old registration address. I hope they don't look into that type of thing.

I wonder if we can get a storm in FL, PA, OH, IN, CO, NM as well. If so, we're golden.

Look for lawsuits against daylight savings if Obama loses, and if that doesn't fly, they can try suing the weather (or evil America for causing global warming which made it rain on election day).
