Was anyone else as disappointed in this interview as I was?? This was the perfect opportunity for Governor Palin to show that she is the strong, intelligent woman that Senator McCain says she is, but I don't feel she did that. And the part of the interview where she couldn't provide specific examples of McCain pushing for more regulations on wall street while he was chairman of the commerce committee was just awful! I couldn't believe she told Katie she would find some and bring them to her

i thought the whole palin thing was a decent idea if she knew her stuff....i figured she was not this dense when it came to certain topics...i was wrong...to the point where she doesn't talk to reporters anymore..

Get real. She doesn't have McCain's 1000 year history in the senate memorized. She should have told Katie that she could just as easily look that up on wikipedia.

Of course not, but being that we are in economic distress right now, and the Government is bailing out these big companies on wall street, and her running mate served as CHAIRMAN of the commerce committee, she probably should have done a little more research on his accomplishments. Just my opinion though. I was really hoping for a stronger interview from her...

I have to say that although I was impressed with McCain's choice of Palin, I haven't been impressed by her. At all.

I bet she knows her American History better then Joe in the foot Biden. Talk about scary, he is only one heart beat away from being president.

they are both terrifying one heartbeat away. by the way, defending ones stupidity by pointing out someone elses stupidity is pretty stupid.

biden's speaking mistakes being hammered on by republicans i find ironic and hilarious.

Biden, McCain and others have had 1000 years (to quote LUconn) to be tested and learn from...she hasnt...she's perfect for the VP position, but she's going to make mistakes and get blasted for them and learn from them. She'll be fine...the Republicans need to be careful though that they do not try to make her out to be better then Obama, she's a VP and she cant lead our country YET so let her fall back in line at the #2 and she'll be fine

it's like having a 15 year old prodigy working for NASA or something...they have all the chance to be great one day...but they'll make plenty of mistakes no matter how bright their future is.

I'm telling you she's a STILL a bright star for the Republicans and is our future even with the media trying to crush her...at times thinking that she's the future will make you cringe (like some of the answers in that interview) but at other times you realize she's got a real shot at this thing if she can stay the course.

Phrases that I would rather never hear on TV again:

"One heartbeat away from the presidency"
"Wall St. vs Main St."

Stupid cliches like this is what makes today's media such a joke.

Why would she let Katie interview her in the 1st place? She's just setting herself up. Just like McCain going on the veiw. Why?
