I was looking for an affordable bible that dates pre 1800s (and the prices on that aren't half bad) but I came across these pages for sale:

King James 1611 Leaves First Edition with letter of authenticity from The Archives Bookshop - signed by Pat Bruno in 1988. These leaves used to be owned by the late Dr. Jerry Falwell years ago. Please see the pictures for more details. Shipping will be insured. And for this auction I will only take Certified Checks from a bank.

Just thought it was an odd way to differentiate his stuff from the rest. It's not like JF having owned would make it any more valuable (at least not for a hundred years or so). Also on a side note, he won't take paypal. I didn't even think ebay allowed that anymore.

I was doing some reading and most bibles aren't really worth all that much because it's the most published book ever. But there are a few exceptions and 1st edition KJVs are worth good money. So maybe a couple of pages from one is worth $400.

Yeah, I have one from the 1611 Bible that's the first page of Job.

I have it at work.

I bet you snicker to yourself everyday when you get to work and see a page of Job at your desk.
