The term "legally blind" can be very deceiving. This man is clearly not using an auditory directional device or other aid as a totally blind athlete would. He may or may not be able to see the pins, but can at least see the lane for a few feet and pick a spot to aim at, which is how a lot of people bowl anyway. A 300 game and 180 average for a 78 year year old man is pretty impressive regardless.
