OK, so as you know I am really struggling with this John McCain as the Republican nominee thing. I've been doing a lot of reading and thinking. I'm still not ready to give up up Huck until McCain has the required # of delegates. However, I found an artical last night written By Michael Reagan (Ronald Reagan's son) that got me thinking What Would Ronald Reagan Do?

When it was over and Ford had won, what did Ronald Reagan do? He simply went all-out to help Ford win his re-election, as did I and as did my sister Maureen. My dad simply followed his rule of backing the Republican candidate no matter who he was.

I don't really like the idea of blindly following any candidate just because he is the Party's guy! I do however see the logic of not wanting Barack or Hill to run amuck for 4 years.
It's tough for me because I feel so strongly that McCain is just another dose of spending waiting to happen. Not to mention the fact that the dork andts AMNESTY. Here, illegals have free citizenship and a full pardon. That would be nuts!
However, I will likely fall in line and vote for McCain when the time comes. It would be very hard for someone as patriotic as me to sit at home and watch Barack win. I can't let that happen! Heck who knows maybe I'll even campaign for McCain, NAH :vomit .
