i've been downloading a ton of files and software....i think I finally got a virus. I restarted my computer and it goes to the log on screen and just freezes with nothing but the background.

i'm about to go out and get a anti virus software so I can boot it off the disk so maybe it finds something....any other ideas? I can't seem to figure out how to boot in safe mode on my Lenovo

I took my computer in to ResNet and they found a lot of problems...there were 3 different anti virus programs that were causing each other to conflict and not find certain viruses....that service is very very good...they save college kids (including myself) a lot of money for the work they do...and they are great at what they do

I knew I was in good hands when I looked at the guy's watch that was fixing my computer and it had military time :D

PS Conn...it wasnt porn you jackal....although it could have come from googling something yall recommended in the other thread :vomit

*EDIT: I dont want to seem like I am a computer idiot...I did try to go back to a earlier date when my computer was working good but the viruses would not allow me to...every date I tried my computer would say unable to go back to that date. I even got my computer with all the icons on and everything and my wireless was shut down and would not turn on...some of the craziest things I've ever seen happen took place
