With all the presidential talk, congress must be loving the lack of attention. How about some consequences for these idiots? And no it's not just the democrats, but this place needs to be cleaned out before any president can be effective. Here's a list of how the democrats have been trying to actively undermine what we're doing in Iraq:

Oh, and it keeps getting better. Yesterday the House Foreign Relations Committee approved a resolution condemning Turkey for genocide against the Armenians that took place....100 years ago. And this same condemnation has already been passsed through congress twice in the last century. Now you tell me, why would they be doing this now? It's unbelievable how transparent they can be and there's absolutely no consequence. To top it off republicans have been going along with this.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Public approval for President Bush and Congress has sunk to the lowest levels ever recorded in The Associated Press-Ipsos poll.

Only 31 percent said they approve of the job Bush is doing, according to the survey released on Thursday. Though his positive ratings have hovered at about that range since last year, his lowest previous approval in the AP-Ipsos survey was 32 percent, which was recorded several times, most recently in June. That is virtually even with the latest reading.

Congress' job performance was approved by just 22 percent, continuing a gradual decline in the public's assessment since Democrats took over in January. Its lowest reading in the poll was 24 percent, recorded most recently in July.
