Had to be in the Burg over the weekend of 11/3 and saw there is a home football game then. We are definitely going and since we are staying right nearby at the Wingate we can walk and not worry about traffic and parking. I'm pretty excited. Is the opponent that weekend any good and do you expect a good game?[/b]

Glad you will be able to make it! I've lived in the Burg for over 30 years now, but I was born in Madison, and both of my parents are Badger alumni.

Our opponent on 11/3 will be Coastal Carolina. They are defending Big South champs and went to the FCS tourney last year, but took a HUGE hit from graduation. IMHO it will be a close call between them and Gardner Webb for second in the conference. It is a growing rivalry, and our guys should be highly motivated to beat them after a tough loss last year in Conway, where some highly questionable officiating played a major role.

Sounds like a winner. We considered Madison highly for retirement but it's too expensive now and a bit too cold. The seasons in Lynchburg are fine for us.
