At Longwood

The Lady Flames travel to Farmville to take on the Longwood Lancers in a doubleheader today. The Lancers are 19-18, and just dropped 3 to #22 Florida. They have split doubleheaders against UVA and #23 Virginia Tech.
Other notable teams they've played:
1-12 0-10 losses to #5 Arizona
1-3 loss to #17 Oregon
Got swept by Radford in a doubleheader.
Lets hope we're awake for today.

Argh. It's so frustrating that Longwood, of all schools, seems to have our number in multiple sports.

Well, one thing is for sure...they could definitely compete in the Big South...if only they had football and volleyball.

Not snobby, we just want/need a team that has football. Someone on the old ESPN board a while back said something to the effect that the football schools (LU, CSU, CCU, and VMI...plus now GW and PC) would "hit the roof" if another non-football school was let in.

let's get it back to softball. clearly the ladies were in letdown mode today. what a disappointment. hopefully we will be ready for coastal this weekend! the wrap from game one.
