I believe she would have transferred to LU, even if there was no portal. I say this, after talking with her last season.

3-0 LU, Escobar pitches 1 hitter. Roupe HR. I think we had 9 hits, should have scored more runs.
We have a couple "bats on the bench" that need to get more plate appearances.

Do you know the status with Haley McManus? She is a transfer from VT.

Nice to see Liberty taking care of business against what may be a solid JSU team. I think with a 4-2 week (including a win tomorrow) we might stay in the T25. At this point, I think anything less than making a super regional would be a disappointment. We appear to have a strong squad.

Do you not feel confident in Bachman and Yoder?

I have confident in Escobar and Yoder. If Bachman has her control, then she is very good but she is known to have control problem. I was just wondering about the VT transfer and why she has not been active. The team could use more high caliber pitchers in their rotation. I’m just curious.

That would be a 5-2 week, with the win over UNC. With the two losses being fairly close games with #13 Duke on their field, I believe we should still be ranked.
