Conference tournament will be 6 teams, double elimination. May 8-11. Liberty gets a first round bye, and will play the winner of the 4-5 game.

No team should get a bye. Not fair. Everyone should have to play same number of games. I not know why the worthless NCAA allows this.

Liberty will play winner of New Mexico State-Jacksonville State game.

NM State beats JAX State 6-5 in 8 innings. JAX State had 5-3 lead in bottom of 7th and surrendered first pitch home runs to Spearman and Patmon, to tie score. Then gave up a 2 out home run in bottom of 8th, on a 1-2 pitch. Should have pitched around Spearman and Patmon, and made other hitters beat them.

We will play NM State tomorrow in semi finals.

You keep talking about home runs but all mind can think about when I see this thread are Hatch chiles.

Any of NMSU 1st 5 hitters can beat us, .315 to .431 BA. My fear is they'll apply that strategy to Roupe who is the only one in the lineup who can beat you and only one batting over .300. It worked for UTEP when they walked her all 4 times and won game 4-3.

Then the rest of LU hitters better step up or else, “Welcome to summer vacation.” Those hitting mechanics are really terrible. I just want to gouge my eyes every time I see some of LU’s hitters swing the bat.

NMSU is the best team in CUSA. Hope Im wrong.

That statement seems inconsistent with the fact that they barely finished over .500 in conference play at 13-11.

We fall 11 - 3 to NMSU. Good news is, if we make it to the championship game, it's one game, winner take all.

First 3 hitters went 8-9 with 7 RBI, 3 HRs. #5 hitter had 3 hits. Apparently our scouting report was very ineffective.

Our worst game of the season.

1st 5 had 13 of the 14 hits.

We stay alive beating UTEP 13-10. McManus had 2 doubles and homerun, with 6 RBI. Wilson had 3 hits. Roberts had 2 run homer on 6th for insurance runs. Escobar gets win on relief. 6.1 innings, I believe. LA Tech is next, tomorrow.

WKU's Gardner took care of NMSU.

Yoder throws 3 hit shutout at LA Tech, we win 5-0. Didn't hit well, but got a couple clutch hits from bottom of lineup. After yesterday, we needed a good pitching performance.

Escobar goes the distance ,allows 4 hits, Roupe and Kersten homer, Liberty wins 5-3. Play WKY for tomorrow.

Roupe's circus catch and subsequent double play in the 7th was a season saver. Escobar has a lot of heart. She and Yoder came up big today.
