Softball travels to Charlottesville tonight for a 7:00 p.m. game. UVA has improved somewhat since we beat them 6-2 earlier in season. They swept NC State and took 2 of 3 from Notre Dame. We need to take our "A" game up there and beat them again.

My sources say that Ballcoach will be skipping this away game, which is barely an hour from Lynchburg, because it starts past his bedtime, and he doesn't drive well after dark.

It is hard to drive a bicycle after dark. Cut him some slack.

The game is televised on the ACCN (channel 612 on DirecTV). LU is winning 5-0 in the 4th inning.

Jones and Keeney combine on a 2 hitter, and Liberty wins 6-1. Griffin and Hudson had 2 hits each for LU.
