LU came back to tie it and even take the lead 11-8 in the seventh inning.

Liberty led 11-8 going into bottom of 10th. Longwood won 12-11.

Thankfully, this game was strictly an exhibition game. We used 6 pitchers.
Positives from the game, we threw 8 straight shutout innings (2nd thru 9th). Our freshmen are swinging the bats good. Defense looks solid. Lots of speed. This team has potential to be best Liberty team in history.

UVA at LU today, 1:00 p.m. final fall game

Liberty 4 UVA 3, Top of 8th

8-3 liberty, top of 9th. We taking too many 3rd strikes.

Final Liberty 8 UVA 4. Flames end fall season with 7-1 record.

The Old Men's Club was in full force today, doing our best to coach up the players. And it was such a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon to watch some softball.
