For those mathematically impaired, 9 pitches we're strikes in the Ks alone. Meaning that 12 batters were retired on no more than 30 total pitches. Fewer if any balls we're thrown to the Ks.

If anyone would like to watch this game, all 15 outs are on Liberty softball Facebook page. Only takes about 3 minutes to watch. Every out was a good defensive play. Best defensive game in LU history.

Hard to evaluate the pitching performance because of the weak opponent, although her control was great. Defense on the other hand, does not have anything to do with whether the person hitting the ball plays for Texas Southern or UCLA. It was flawless, with several outstanding plays.
