Lipscomb comes to town with a 19-8-1 record. .278 BA and 3.24 ERA. Double header Saturday, and single game Sunday. Hopefully weather will be good and attendance will be good.

Lipscomb has scored 148 runs in 28 games (5.3 runs a game) and have given up 100 runs (3.6 runs a game).
LU has scored 132 runs in 29 games (4.6 runs a game) and have given up 61 runs (2.1 runs a game).

Although the competition has been different, we would seem to have a decided edge in pitching while their offense has been more potent. They were embarrassed by FSU (excellent team) twice-losing both times by the "mercy" rule.

Not sure why Dot keeps marching Kirby and Engler out there so often. We have 3 pitchers who have been effective, DiMartino, Cassady and Cooper. Don't let Coopers 1-3 record deceive you. She has been the victim of poor defense and actually has the best ERA on the team. 3 pitchers is plenty in college softball.
