We need a sweep to hold onto top seed. Winthrop is 17-27 on the season, 7-11 in BSC. Judging from their stats and scores, their pitching seems to be better than their hitting. Lot of low scoring games. Not many home runs as compared to last few teams to visit LU stadium.

Schedule has been altered. DH Friday at 4 and 6. Sing game Saturday at 2.

Wasted an opportunity to break it open in the bottom of the third. Both Bishops on base with no outs and we only score 1 run. Two strikeouts really hurt. Amador struck out looking-can't happen in that situation.

Should have broken it open in the 2nd. Bases loaded no outs and already a run in . . . . and didn't score!

2-1 LU Top 4. We have 6 hits but only ,2 runs. We have bad plate discipline.

Sweep of the DH! Guaranteed of a least a piece of the conference championship. A win tomorrow gives LU the outright title and #1 seed for the BSC tournament.

Good game 2, bats came alive. Robertson 3-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. McFarland 3 RBI.

Cassidy pitched 2 hit shutout.

I actually feel funny saying it, but it is a fact. With all the great things the ladies have accomplished all year, and especially in this 13 game win streak, a lot of the shine will be taken off of it if they can't finish the job with a win today and clinch the #1 seed. BTW, in addition to everything else, a win today would give them the longest winning streak in program history.

And speaking about today's game, does anyone know what the status is on Amber Bishop and whether she will play? After going the distance and hitting a HR in game one yesterday, she came out after one AB in game 2. Hopefully the ankle was just tender from being on it and they decided to have her ice and elevate it. If she rolled it again, she could be out a while.

I fall in the too far away group. But I am hoping we are sent to a regional near me.

Game already underway, and Amber is playing. 0-0 after 2. Dot has all the seniors in the starting lineup, including a couple who would not be otherwise and Tori, who may or may not be ready to play the OF. Nice gesture. Hope it doesn't backfire.

Probably pretty much assures an at large bid as well.

Our pitching staff has 8 straight complete games, all wins, by 4 different pitchers.

And ballcoach won the triva contest AGAIN. He really shouuld try out for the LU Quiz Bowl team.
