LU sweeps DH, winning game 2 8-2. Engler picks up win in relief. Throwing 4 perfect innings. Via had 3 hits, giving her 8 in last 3 games, I believe. Engler now has pitched 18 straight scoreless innings.

LU completes,3 game sweep of Blue Hose, 8-1. DiMartino throws a 2 hitter, allowing only a bunt single and a HR. Diedra See had 4 hits, including a HR. Robertson had 2 run double, Bishop twins each had 2 hits. LU goes 5-1 on road trip.

Charleston Southern beat Longwood today 4-2. LU now in first place in BSC standings.

CSU playing without Jade Gandara their best offensive player and maybe best player in BSC due to an injury sustained in 1st inning of 1st game with Longwood.

Longwood is actually tied for 3rd with G-W at 4-2. Winthrop sits at 3-1. Don't know if they will get those 2 games in today. If not, it will hurt them come time for seeding because they go strictly by most wins, not best %.

Correction on Longwood's record. they are 5-1 in second place. BSC website is wrong
