Granted, these were 2 weak teams, but LU looked good overall. I don't recall any errors, and we hit ball good. McFarland had only LU home run. Pitching was good. Entire staff saw action. Freshman lefthander looked good in her 2 innings. Couple other freshmen looks as if they will contribute come spring. Both are outfielders, left handed batters with speed.

Season opener is in Clermont, FL February 9th, according to my sources. We also play in Mary Nutter Classic in California. Also University of South Carolina tournament March 2, 3, 4.

How were the concessions? Did they have that $10 Coke cup with free refills?

Never went to concessions. Some softball parents had a tent set up outside entrance gate. I received invitation to join the tailgating party, thus I ate for free.

Did they serve Whoppers?

No. Served barbeque

Have no idea, probably Forest.
