Wow, that tournament is a real barn-burner!! I think McDaniel is D3...?

I am not sure what goes into Fall Scheduling, but most D1 schools seem to "play down". I believe travel plays a big part. I wish we were not playing Longwood in the fall. But then again maybe it will help us beat them come spring.

I do know that the September 23 date will cause me to miss LU@Jacksonville State football game. I had planned that trip for a year. I wish the softball team had a "fall game" with JSU in Jacksonville. That would be great.

Ballcoach-which Freshmen could have the biggest impact?

Without seeing them yet, and going strictly off their Bio, I would say Alexis Erich. She appears to have the most power of any of the freshmen. We need more HR pop in the lineup. Also Cassidy Young could have impact.

But one never knows how freshmen will adapt to college pitching. But our lineup is strong top to bottom and we have good depth. Key will be everyone staying healthy.
