With all the focus on basketball, the end of the football season and the departure of our AD, this bit of news got kinda lost in the shuffle:

Its a small group but I like that we have a local product (Via) and we have a lefthanded arm that we can use in a number of ways (Kirby).

We'll see how this group fits in next year. It's always interesting to read between the lines of DR's description of each player. Over the past four years, I've learned (through some face to face conversations) to filter her optimism. I'm hopeful her past references to having world series type of players begins to manifest itself this year.
