Tide wins 10-2. LU committed 4 errors that lead to a slew of unearned runs. All errors were on routine plays. LU had 6 hits against Tide pitchers. Best pitching LU will face this season.
I feel good about team once BSC play starts. We start 6 freshmen who will get better as season rolls on.

We will have to tighten up our defense. 14 errors in 6 games
Coastal 0-5 but had
0 errors against quality opponents.

Probably. CCU was picked 2nd and having the preseason POY and having solid defense (emphasizing the 0 errors in 5 games) and solid pitching is probably why the
coaches ranked them that high.
If we can get healthy and the frosh develop we'll compete with both Longwood and CCU for 1st.

One never knows but I wish we had been at full strength in Florida.
